    2025 — Present

    I provide on-campus peer mentorship to 10-15 newly selected Opportunity Scholars at Western Washington University under the supervision of the WSOS team. Scholar Leads are enthusiastic student leaders who are further along in their academic journey, who help Scholars navigate their new campus, learn about available resources, and support their academic journey. Responsibilities also include sharing resources that support goal setting, prioritization of work, and time management.

  1. Talk 2 My Lawyer

    September 2025 — June 2026

    Develop a chat and messaging service that leverages AI’s already broad knowledge base across many practice areas and matches it up with the practical and credible experience of lawyers to give instant access to legal advice and document creation.

  2. Classroom Communication Aide

    September 2025 — December 2025

    Classroom Communication Aide is a web-based tool designed to improve communication between teachers and ELL students in diverse classrooms. It supports features like real-time translation, speech-to-text, and customizable commands to make learning more inclusive.

  3. Discord Bot

    August 2025 — September 2025

    Developed a server-hosted Discord bot with role-based permissions to manage events, resources, mentees, polls, and automated reminders for a mentoring community.

  4. WWU Course Navigator

    June 2025 — August 2025

    WWU Course Navigator helps students locate their classrooms and office hours across campus. The app allows students to enter information about their courses and instructors to receive guidance on classroom locations and office hour locations. Both the frontend and backend are hosted on Render, with the backend managing and serving dynamic location data.

  5. Fake News Detector

    April 2025 — June 2025

    Implemented a fake news classification model using RoBERTa-base, applying natural language processing techniques to distinguish between real and fake news articles.

  6. Deadwood

    February 2025 — March 2025

    Developed a full implementation of the Deadwood board game featuring both a terminal-based interface and a graphical user interface, applying object-oriented design principles.

  7. Stock Inverstment Strategy

    November 2024 — December 2024

    Developed a Java application that processes a database of historical stock price data to evaluate a rule based trading strategy. The program retrieves and analyzes time series price information, applies the strategy logic to simulate trades, and computes overall gains and losses. Emphasis was placed on efficient data handling, clear algorithm design, and accurate financial calculations to assess strategy performance.
